Oleg Korolev

Russian visionary artist Oleg Korolev is one of the XXI century great art masters, a spiritual man, one of his kind, such as William Blake and Maestro Ernst Fuchs.

Oleg is a true visionary in the sense of the word and a great inspiration for his contemporary fellow artists; with a profound theological knowledge and refined painting skills, he has achieved to merge the sacred art along with surrealism and imaginary realism into trascendental masterpieces, bringing the art of painting into a whole new level of traditional and contemporary artwork.
His paintings "Peresvet, Oslyabya, Divine Gloom", "Michael", "St.Paul", "Prodigal Son", "Good Cataphatic Samaritan", "I swear", "Theseus and Minotaur", etc., plunge the spectator immediately into a meditative / contemplative state of mind, creating a sacred silence, a pause of eternity in this present chaotic reality, with complex organic compositions and sublime visions of light in the darkest depths of the soul.

"Peresvet, Oslyabya, Divine Gloom"

These are the kind of paintings made to be enjoyed through aeons, a measure of space and time between body and soul.
Along with his unique art style, Oleg Korolev shows an authentic concern for the present crisis in the art world, not only by the strong russian identity of his subjects, but his brilliant thoughts regarding art criticism and art theory in his articles "The Dehumanization of Art" and "Mules, without understanding".
Korolev´s artwork is the foundation stone of a new golden age for art, an outstanding real avant garde artist who has begun a cultural revolution in art through his canvas, proving that the art of painting is very much alive today.
The paintings of Oleg Korolev have changed the history of art forever.
